For Taylor

I made this blanket for my niece Taylor for Ben to give her for Christmas.

The back is Minky material, so, so soft.
It says her name in the stitching right here. My neighbor did the quilting, I just pieced it and did the binding.
I also made a doll quilt for her babies.
I did the binding with the Minky also, it was very hard for me to bind with, but looks good and will be nicer for her little hands to hold onto, so it was worth it.

For Blaine

This is the top I made for Blaine, it is a soft flannelish type of material. I don't know when I'll be able to get this quilted, but I can't wait.
Boy for a rug hooking blog, this sure is becoming quilty.

Christmas Quilt

I made myself this Christmas quilt. It is the first one I've done for myself. And I love it. I just got it back from the quilters yesterday and it is quilted with red presents. I haven't had time to bind it yet, but couldn't wait to show it off. Sorry to seem so boostful, but I really do like this one.

First quilt

This is the first quilt top I ever finished, I just got it quilted. I don't love the material I used, but I am happy with it anyway. It's not quite the size of a twin bed, but it is a great size for a throw, I can easily lay under it without getting cold feet.

Here is my first attempt at a flower hair clip:

Fall time quilt

My newest quilting project- it is just little, meant to be a table topper I think, but I gave it to Roxy as a snuggle blanket because she loved it so much. Plus, it's size was not quite right for my table.

Close up:
it's hard to tell from the pics but the purple parts are appliqued on and are frayed from washing.

First finished quilt!

I made this quilt for my little nephew Tyson. It's the first finished quilt I've done (I have made two other tops, but they are not quilted yet) and I am very pleased with the way it has turned out.
If you look closely, you can see Tyson written into the quilting.
Here is his name again.
